At DocHipo, we aim to make design accessible to every single business user on this planet so that you can create stunning designs, even if you have never designed in the past. With that in mind, we’ve been making constant updates to DocHipo so that you can effortlessly create beautiful designs.
Hello everyone! We are thrilled to share that you can now choose a template on the DocHipo website and sign in straight to the application to customize it without wasting time looking for the perfect template.
Unlike in the past, the templates on the DocHipo website are no more static. It fetches from the template library of the DocHipo application and shows it in real-time on the website. And when you choose to edit them from the website, it takes you straight to the application.
We are thrilled to share that we have now made the upgrade experience delightful for all our free users planning to upgrade to DocHipo Pro.
Unlike the generic upgrade modal in the past, the content of the new upgrade modal is based on what action you’re is trying to perform in the application.
We are excited to share that you can now download a document in MP4 and GIF format. This was one of the most requested features by our user community. And we are thrilled to launch this!
Once you are ready with the design, click on download, and you will see MP4 and GIF as a file type.
We are excited to share with you that we have now launched cute, animated graphics inside DocHipo. The graphics are available across a variety of topics, and we are expanding the library to cover more topics.
Use these animations and bring your designs to life.
We are super excited to share with you that you can now download a document in JPG format. The JPG format should be useful whenever you need a smaller file size vis-à-vis a PNG format.
For a single-page document, it gets downloaded as a single file. While for a multi-page document, it gets downloaded as a ZIP file combining all the pages.
We have just launched “Smart Resize” – the ability to resize a document into multiple other dimensions in just one click.
Once you resize a document, the smart resize tool smartly repositions all the widgets perfectly on the canvas. This saves so much time for you – where you don’t need to manually adjust every single widget to fit the new dimension.
We have just launched the Product Tour inside DocHipo. When you sign up, DocHipo would walk you through how to create a stunning document quickly and easily with a series of tooltips.
Throughout the product tour, we kept the copy simple and friendly so that you can start creating stunning documents quickly and easily with minimum effort.
We have just launched the Stickers library in DocHipo. So, if you are looking at adding a dash of fun, you can use these versatile Stickers to make your documents more engaging.
You can find the Stickers under the Graphics and Media section! As with all other widgets, you can drag and drop them on the editor, reposition and resize them as required. What’s more, you can also change the colors of your stickers to suit your color scheme.
If you are working on a document with multiple widgets like text, images, icons – it is now super-easy to select them at one go. Once selected, you can reposition or resize them, as required. What’s more, you can group these widgets as well.
Once you select the widgets you would like to group, click on the Group option from the editing menu. Once Grouped, you still have the contextual editing options for individual widgets. In case, you wish to ungroup the widgets, select the group, and the ungroup option would be available on the editing menu.
If you are looking at using a stock video in your next document, then the task just got easier! With this new feature in place, you can now search for copyright-free stock videos from within the DocHipo editor and use them in your documents.
By default, the video will play on loop on preview, present, and the publish page. However, you have the option to disable the loop as well.
In this new UI, the document types are represented more realistically in a way that helps you visualize the use-case for the same. So, in the Business Essentials section, we have Infographic, Flyer, Poster, and Presentation neatly displayed in a way that resembles the actual use-cases for these types of documents.
The same goes for General Purpose document types, Web Banners, and Social Graphics. With this new interface, you can relate to these document types in an instant at a glance.
We revamped the document download widget in DocHipo. This UI update comes with a lot of added functionalities too! The best and the most noticeable change is that you can now see a thumbnail view of the document you are about to download.
An added advantage of this interface is scalability. Soon, we are planning to add more file types, and this UI will help us keep the interface neat while adding more file types.
We just launched a responsive masonry grid layout for the documents and templates page of DocHipo so that these pages look perfect for every screen size.
So it does not matter anymore which device you are using – you’ll have the perfect layout every time – with both documents and templates laid out across the full width of the page.
We are super excited to launch the DocHipo-Mailchimp integration that’ll make life easier for you as a marketer.
Are you using MailChimp as your email campaign tool? Are you using DocHipo to create stunning visuals to jazz up your emails? If yes, then this is for you, my friend. With MailChimp integration live, you can now save any design straight into your Mailchimp account from within DocHipo.
We are super excited to announce a complete revamp of our Lines library. Unlike in the past, you can now adjust the line thickness from the contextual menu bar.
In the case of decorated lines, if you drag a line on either side, the pattern gets repeated magically. This saves a lot of your time as you are no more required to clone a line in order to repeat the pattern. How cool is that!
If you are looking at adding a dash of fun to your documents, then it’s time to explore these super cute illustrations in DocHipo. All illustrations are divided into two categories, Solo and Scene.
The solos can be used as single elements in different documents such as cards, posters, social posts, etc. On the other hand, scenes tell you a complete story with multiple characters and backgrounds.
Be it a promotional post or YouTube thumbnail, adding your face to the graphic is the sure-fire way of making it personal, engaging, and of course, clickable! But the problem is, you possibly cannot use those awesome portraits and selfies without removing the background.
With the brand-new background removal feature, you can do it with just one click and in about 20 seconds!
We are super excited to share with you that Snap-to-Grid, a brand-new feature that’s been widely requested by our user community, is live, and it’ll make designing with DocHipo even easier!
Alignment is one of the critical factors that make your design look professional and consistent. With this cool snap-to-grid functionality, all your design elements will be in perfect alignment… every time!
Have you ever used a document to explain how your product or service is going to help your customers? Or an infographic to describe a process? If yes – use YouTube videos in the relevant section so that your document stands out from the crowd.
With this integration, you can now use YouTube videos in a variety of creative ways to make your documents engaging and memorable.
